Description: | |
I have recently become addicted to creating origami boxes. They are VERY cheap to make and REALLY easy. I found them via a craft video on YouTube, so I will link that video here for anyone who doesn't know how to make them. The only supplies you will need are your hands and a sheet of paper - computer paper, origami paper, or scrapbook paper all seem to work just fine (I trim my scrapbook paper down to A4 size). If you wanted to tie yours off with ribbon, stamp it, put stickers on it... you can do whatever you want to decorate it! When you send your box to your partner there should be a note and a surprise of some kind inside, whether it be stickers, some ribbon, a key chain, an ATC... whatever you would like to put in it to surprise your partner. You will have one partner, and I am making it an international swap because it is such a light/small project, it really shouldn't cost much more than a normal letter to send, unless you put a rock in as a surprise :) I am asking that you have no less than a 4.5 rating--I will create a box for anyone if someone does flake. However, PLEASE don't join if you don't think you can do it because I don't want to get stuck making 30 of these things! :) I would also prefer if you had at least 5 previous type 2 and 3 swaps. The link to the instructional video is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6IHyUMft6Bw Hope we find some origami lovers out there!! :) |
