art journal pages Prompt 1: Heal (healing) add journaling Prompt 2: A bit collaged with journaling Quantity: create TWO art journal pages using these prompts and receive two back. 2 for 2. Size of the pages: 5"x7" Margin: leave a 1" margin on the left of the page free from embellishment. This margin is meant for binding. Orientation: Horizontal Only! When you make the margin the page MUST be horizontally!! But you MAY create landscape or vertical. Finish the back of each page you create, with your art or with patterned paper. State your swap-bot name, real name, the themes of the pages and the name of the swap on the back of each page. Nice is if you sum up the mediums/technique you used. MUST: you MUST use a colour medium (acrylic paint, watercolour crayons, watercolour pencils, etc.) is some way! Just collaging , just using stickers or just writing is not it. Make a good combination of the different techniques:-) Any kind of cardstock can be used (please recycle; time is financially tough, so buying is not necessary!!), but of course it is sender's choice. On art journal pages water is a normal addition to mediums, so use scrap cardstock which is sturdy enough to carry the water layers on it. Please be sure that the cardstock is of substantial weight, because these pages may eventually be bound into a journal. P.s: any ideas for prompts are welcome; just send me a message. Hello, I'm commenting here (hopefully you don't view this as spammy) because I'm trying to get a group of Swap-botters together for The Sketchbook Project 2014. People who participate will receive a 5" x 7" book to fill out and return to the Brooklyn Art Library. Then the books go on a multi-city tour in the U.S. (also Canada for a couple tours)... though anyone worldwide can participate! At the end of the tour the books become part of the permanent collection at the Brooklyn Art Library. I'm trying to organize a group to do this because I think it'd be fun to share my work and see what other people are doing, we could encourage/motivate each other, provide help and feedback if need be and there is also a group discount. @Shahna >> it is for us to interpret or express on your AJ page. The definition in an online dictionary: 1. To restore to health or soundness; cure. 2. To set right; repair: healed the rift between us. 3. To restore (a person) to spiritual wholeness.

So it can either be spiritual or the restoration of health or ..... I am not that spiritual, but it is to one to express how they heal or what healing mean to him/her.
