This swap is an extension from previous swap for beginner seamstresses :) Here are the details: You will have 3 partners to send to Sew something for your partner using your favorite color/colors Write a brief note why you like the color/colors. Reminder: since this is still for beginners so lets be understanding if the package you receive falls below YOUR presumed expectations. The projects should be a little more work than previous project you did. Or if you are new to this swap it should be more than a simple square. Basically, you are trying to challenge yourself, remembering that your piece will be loved with all your inperfections so DO NOT STRESS about it. I swear, once you start stressing the sewing machine picks up on that and all the bobbins go crazy :)

I am doing practice projects :) I just made a crayon wallet this weekend. Not perfect, but I am getting better.

Dang, I think I'm going to have to pull out of this one. Life just got crazy and I'm afraid I won't be able to give enough time to this swap. I'll be looking forward to a part 3 in a few months, though! :)

This is an exciting swap, but I am actually a little nervous, I'm a beginner at sewing. I hope my partners like my creations. I'm not sure that what I make would be considered enough.....I am going to make something I would like to receive....can people post ideas of what they are sending? Just some beginner ideas?

I will attempt a heart shaped pouch. But it may not work out and will have to go to plan b. I think my difficulty is zippers. They are easy to sew but hard to make it look nice and smooth. Honestly, I know some girls from a different exchange group that are participating here and are biggest sweethearts and will appreciate whatever you make with sincerity! No stress. That's why its beginner sewing challenge.
