Description:

We've all had this happen: a postcard or two in your collection gets kind of mangled. Maybe it got stepped on, maybe something was spilled on it. Maybe it's bent. Or maybe a corner was torn off. Whatever the reason, your postcard is now less than perfect. And may be you don't feel so good about sending it to someone, because you don't want them to think you don't care.

We're going to fix that with this swap.

Find a postcard that's seen better days. Address it to your partner, and write a short note about why it's damaged. It doesn't have to be a true note, maybe aliens borrowed it, or your non existent dog ripped the corner off.

Then send it off, knowing your postcard will have a good home elsewhere, and you don't have to feel guilty that it's not pristine. This swap is Sender's Choice for the postcard, what's damaged to you may not be damaged to the person receiving the card, but all that matters is you consider it damaged.

This is also Sender's Choice for the mailing form. You can send it naked (written on and stamped), in an envelope blank, in an envelope and written on, or some other method of your choosing. Want a shot at a heart? Check your partner's profile and see if they list how they prefer to receive cards.

4.85 or higher rating, newbies allowed. This is a simple swap folks, you should already have the postcard with you, so no flaking please. I will angel, I have a pile of damaged postcards.

This swap is for when you care enough to NOT send the very best! lol. Just kidding. I have some vintage postcards that aliens abducted, stuck hinges on, and mounted on paper that was not (and still isn't!) acid-free. Those doggone aliens! You just can't trust 'em (or my mother in this case),

The one that's in the photo, which unfortunately was eaten by aliens, was bent, torn, stained, and stepped on. It was a real piece of work.

Biggest problem I have is that some of my older ones (from the 1990's) have brown age spots and marks on the back of them. :( Should I tell my partner the dog pooped on them? ;)

You're free to tell them any story you want, it doesn't have to be true. And if it is, you don't have to tell them if it's true or not :)
