Description:

I guess I'm not the only one with excess (unused) Christmas cards after the "writing Christmas cards and send them to family and friends" task is done and you wonder what to do with them.

So instead of sending the same type of cards next year (or you're sick and tired of the cards you have), why not swap them for someone new?

So, for the swap. You should send at least 5, but you can send more, Christmas cards to your partner. It can be both the folded type or the postcard type, it depends on what is lingering in your leftover-stash. You can also send a combination of the two types. The main point is that you don't need to run to the store to buy new cards for this swap.

People with a filled out profile welcome. If there's any questions, feel free to ask.

Edit; Yes, you can send 5 (or several) of the same type and cards with languages other than English. It all depends on the stash you have. ;-)

do they all have to be different cards or can they all be the same?

Since it is international I suppose it is okay to send Cards that are not in english but in our own language?! My cards are all in German f.e.

ju671ne; I guess it will work out if you do all the same (as long as it's okay for your partner). The idea behind the swap was to circulate the stash, so as a swap coordinator, it's fine for me. I know I'll probably send a few duplicates at least.

Obstminkerl; Feel free to send them in German, I've got a few in Norwegian myself, as I live in Norway.

It's a good idea to translate the message inside the card if it's not English. I would appreciate that. Even if it's the standard, "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year." You can enclose a note. A sticky note would be best and left on the card, so when it's use, we can mention it to the sender. Thank you for the consideration.

I received my swap, but would have liked a variety of cards. I enjoy collecting unused Christmas cards to use. I know not everyone has this.
