Yummy Treats Swap

Candy swaps seem to be one of the most popular swaps on the 'Bot. So here goes. But since we are mostly a crafting group, ours will have a twist!

Please buy the following for one partner:

One WRAPPED chocolate candy bar- can be plain or filled, any flavour.

One BAG of candy-can be hard candy, soft chews, licorice, wrapped or not.

One BAG of snacks-chips, nuts, popcorn, etc

One other WRAPPED item of your choice. Can be a duplicate of the above or something I haven't mentioned like gum, lollipops etc. If you are the world's best candy maker or like to buy bulk AND your partner consents, that's between you both but you MUST ask first.

Allergies/dislikes: note any allergies or serious dislikes on your profile. See below for more details.

Minimum TOTAL grams=150 or 5.3 oz

In addition to the candy, please make something for your partner to keep their candy in. As we all do different crafts, you can choose what to do. If you knit, crochet or sew, make a small pouch closed with ribbon. If you papercraft, decorate/decoupage a small box. If you scrapbook, maybe use a template to make a cool shaped paper gift box. You get the idea. It does not have to hold all the candy you send. The size and shape are up to you. Just avoid anything they hate by looking at their profile.

CANDY

*Please check your partners profile for candy dislikes and allergies only. If I allow it below, it gets crazy. If you have to go and change your profile, I figure it's a pretty serious issue for you and therefore important enough for your partner to make note of. If you are severely allergic as in nothing with {insert allergy here} can enter your household, I suggest you PM your partner in addition for your own safety. If you ignore your partner's allergies you can be rated a 3. Ignoring reasonable dislikes (not a massive list) can also get you a 3 so play nice!

*You do not have to buy according to their likes but that could be nice. Then again, if you don't, you may introduce them to something new!

CRAFTS

*If you use rubber stamping, please stamp cleanly; missed areas, smudges or double lines are not acceptable.

*Please check your partner's profile and avoid dislikes both in colour and theme for the holder. You may make the candy and holder profile based if you wish.

*Please do not use computer generated images or sentiments unless they are professional quality and do not show pixelation. And no magazine cut outs or 'kid' stickers.

*Please make a beautiful Candy holder you are proud of and would be thrilled to receive.

*The Candy holder must include a total of at least 3 layers and/or embellishments. You must use all quality craft supplies. No cheap junk.

*Make sure your work is clean and precise. No glue should show and straight cuts need to be straight. Colouring needs to look adult, not like a child did it. Please don't be discouraged by these rules. I am only referring to general tidy work, not tiny flaws.

*Please have a 4.97+ rating to join and no 1's EVER or 3's in the last 6 months. I will accept explanations of course, PM me ahead of the sign up deadline. If you see a flaker has joined, don't worry, I will weed them out but there shouldn't be any on a group like this! If you are really worried, give me a heads up! I’ve been flaked on so many times, I've stopped keeping track, so I get it!w
