Description: | |
Quilt (kwilt) n. An item created through the technique of joining at least two fabric layers by stitches or ties. See? That's not even remotely scary for crafting queens like us. For this swap, you will create a mini quilt through your interpretation of the above definition--sender's choice. The dimensions need to be at least 8 inches on one side finished, and no side smaller than 6 inches, and this is for a finished project ready to be used/displayed, but those are the only two guidelines. Some suggestions for those who do not own a sewing machine and/or have never considered making a quilt: --You can use flannel instead of "batting" and embroidery floss or yarn instead of thread for an-easier-to-sew-by-hand project. (handsewing is not mandatory, but is an option) I am not going to spend a lot of time on ratings, etc. as this is a group swap so we are all good swappers here. But I will angel if necessary due to unexpected illness, etc. PM me with any questions. |
