Description:

We all have gorgeous stamps. But do you find yourself making similar projects every time? I know I do! So let's step out of our comfort zone and use those stamps in new ways! You will choose one stamp and make three of the following:

1 greeting card min 4.25x5.5"/4.5" square or 2 mini (less than 4x4") 2 ATCs 1 matchbox (filled with Somerset-ish items) 1 altered item (book, candle, bottle, tin etc) 1 gift box or other paper based gift item (journal, notepad etc) 1 handmade sewing project (pin cushion, needle case etc) make sure the stamping is done with an appropriate ink so it comes out clearly. 1 other item-check with your partner. This may count as two items as long as that's ok with your partner.

You may make two of any one item as long as they are distinctly different. You may use other supporting stamps but lets make sure that one stamp you use on all three projects has center stage.

Please keep themes generic unless you check with your partner first. No holiday or birthday please.

Thanks to a forum poster for the inspiration. (Can't remember her name. Ugh)

*Please use at least 2 layers on top of the base and minimum 3 shabby or vintage embellishments on the main area of each item. I highly recommend flowers, lace, fancy brads, pearls, doilies, buttons, punched paper strips, twine, ribbon and vintage ephemera (real or high quality reproduction) etc as some of your embellishments. Shabby up your work with distressing; paint or inking is also a great idea. You must use ALL quality items in your construction and embellishing. No junk.

*When rubber stamping, please stamp cleanly; missed areas, smudges or double lines are not acceptable unless it is clearly part of the shabby style.

*Please check your partner's profile and avoid dislikes both in colour and theme. You may make this profile based if you wish.

*Please do not use computer generated images or sentiments unless they are professional quality and do not show pixelation. And no magazine cut outs or 'kid' stickers.

*Please make a beautiful items you are proud of and would be thrilled to receive.

*Make sure your work is clean and precise. No glue should show and straight cuts need to be straight. Colouring needs to look adult, not like a child did it. Please don't be discouraged by these rules. I am only referring to general tidy work, not tiny flaws.

*Please have a 4.97+ rating to join and no 1's EVER or 3's in the last 6 months. I will accept explanations of course, PM me ahead of the sign up deadline. If you see a flaker has joined, don't worry, I will weed them out but there shouldn't be any on a group like this! If you are really worried, give me a heads up! I’ve been flaked on so many times, I've stopped keeping track, so I get it!
