Description:

The focus of this swap will be sharing by mail (either in a handwritten or typed letter to your partner) a ghost story from your area. You may already know some good local ghost stories. If you do not know any good local ghost stories, I bet your public library has some books with local stories that you can read. If you have prior first hand or second hand experiences in visiting the place in your story that would be interesting to tell your partner. If you really want to impress your partner, it might be fun to visit the scene of the story and report what you saw there. But a visit is totally optional and is not required for a 5 rating. You only need to tell a local ghost story to fulfill the first part of the swap's requirements. You can tell more than one story in your letter.

Also send your partner a small spooky surprise. The small spooky surprise can be handmade (your best work) or purchased for a dollar or two. Halloween goodies are okay for the small spooky surprise.

Have fun sharing some local folklore!

People with recent 1s or 3s, strings of past 1s or 3s, or fishy profiles will be dropped from the swap without notice. You must have at least three type 2 and/or type 3 swaps completed and rated to participate.

Happy hauntings!

Love your graphic! Watching for now, but most likely will do this. I am from Louisiana (U.S.) where ghost stories & legends abound! But since moving to Nebraska, I've heard none! This will be a fun learning experience :)

Thanks, Bontemps. I hope you will join. I looooove Louisiana, by the way. Have only been there twice but so want to go back.
