Traveling Photo Journal swap #4

Ohhhhh.....I love this idea!!! This will be my first time joining your swap, but I can't hardly wait to get started!!!! Putting in watch for now, but gonna join for sure closer to time:)))

Oh, just thought of a question, lol. Can we put more than one photo on a page or suppose to only put one???

I love this idea... But you're allowing unrated swappers & ratings as low as 4.0? I'm too afraid someone will flake & my journal won't get passed on/returned.

I was a newbie when I joined this & had a lot of fun creating mine!!! You can put more than one photo on a page and one photo on a page :) Have fun with it; I will post a link to images of mine if that helps, too!

I am glad you LOVE this idea - I have really had fun with it in past swaps!!! In regards to your concern with the unrated swappers ( we were all newbies at some point right??? And I am asking that they have fully filled out profiles, if they aren't going to put the effort into their profile than I will not have them in the swap - in regards to the rating of a 4 - I meant to actually type a 4.5 & will be editing it - thanks!) @happytuesdayrain yea -- upon further reading of the details of this swap I am VERY concerned about the rating requirement/newbie status. I've participated in all of the previous (#1-#3) rounds and as mentioned in my PM's to you MY journal is MIA and my partner (an unrated, minimal profile) in the last round flaked. MAJOR concerns here ...

Thankyou @happytuedayrain ) Got signed up and can't hardly wait to run out, buy my journal and get started!!! Just hope flakers will stay away, but guess it will be worth the risk just thinking about how exciting it will be when our journals are returned to us safe and sound and filled to the gills with pics from all around the country:))) CAN'T HARDLY WAIT!!!

After some careful thought and genuine concerns I have edited the requirements to ensure this works better than it has in the past for some. The swap will no longer allow newbies and you must have a rating of 4.8 or higher.

No Problem :) I LOVE the concept of this swap & like you guys I want to see my journal come back filled from all over the country!

I am having trouble finding an appropriate composition book!!! Don't know whether it's because all the kids are starting back to school and they're just sold out or what! I found some very nice journals though, but they're kind of expensive and too heavy for our partners to continue to mail it over and over.

Will keep looking, but if I don't find a book within the next few days guess I will have to drop out and try to catch the next one:(

Ok, so I'm going to another city tomorrow to our next closest Wal-Mart. Keeping fingers crossed and praying that they have comps books on the shelf. If not, guess I will check online or something. Man, never dreamed I would have trouble finding a composition book!!!

Should the book be any particular size?

Yep....you were right @happytuedayrain $1 tree was loaded with these books. The funny thing is I bought 3, paid $1 each then went to Wal-Mart and they had oodles for 50 cents each, lol. So I bought a couple more, lol. Just never know:)) lol.

Hello @Mona I don't have a set # of rounds in mind - your journal will come back once it is filled up - at that point I would send out a new Journal into the mix if you want to continue :)

Is it ok to use a hard bound journal not a composition book? I say some nice ones at the dollar store. Thanks. I am really excited about this swap.

@Mona yes, as long as it has about 80 pages and isn't teeny tiny - so about the same size of a comp book - if that makes sense :)
