Description:

It's time to bomb your city!

If you are unfamiliar with yarn bombing check it out here

For this swap you will knit/crochet a covering/decoration for your local area then take a photo of it and send the photo to your partners.

You can create a yarn bomb for any public object ie lamp post, tree or statue. You can make it as simple or as complex as you like.

There is no min size of area you need to cover. If you don't have much time a smaller bomb is fine, if you have plenty of time and want to do half a tree that is wonderful. Just work within your resources.

You do not need to be a crochet/knit expert as the use of simple stitches will produce effective results.

As this is an electronic swap and no extra cost for extra partners the number of partners will depend on the number of people joining the swap. So if 5 people join the swap you will have 4 partners.

To join this swap you will need to have competed 3 swaps with a craft component.

This means email questionnaires are not acceptable. Even though this is an electronic swap there is still a strong craft component.

As this is not profile based you can start the swap as soon as you sign up.

If you have any questions or suggestions to improve the swap just let me know.

Happy Swapping!

I'm glad I started this swap early. With all the morning sickness I haven't been doing to much on the swap >.<
