Description:

For this swap you will create one ATC for one partner that features a zentangle number 4 (four). You must use four different Official Zentangle patterns or variations of the pattern on the ATC. Let your partner know what patterns you used and where they are on your card. You can write your partner a short note, draw a quick sketch of where the patterns are on your card, or make an overlay on top to label the patterns. When we receive tangles and see a pattern we really like, sometimes it's hard to find the pattern on TanglePatterns.com without a name. This is a great way to learn new patterns.

DO NOT send something you would not be happy to receive. A decent zentangle ATC usually takes at least an hour to complete. You may add color to yours but it is not a requirement. Remember an ATC is 2.5" x 3.5" and must be on a sturdy backing like heavy cardstock or chipboard. I have found that it can also work well to cut backings from cereal boxes.

If you are stumped for patterns, or would like to see a ton of patterns all at once, go to TanglePatterns.com.

You must have a rating of at least 4.98 to participate and no recent unexplained 1s or 3s. Newbies are welcome to join with a well filled out profile. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me here in the comment section or pm me. I'll reply as quickly as I can. I will angel if necessary, but I shouldn't have to.

Have fun with it and Happy Tangling!

I have done it! I sprang for six zentangle books and they are a help for learning patterns. Now these are the ones you are speaking about being official zentangle patterns correct?

I love to tangle. It is relaxing, but to join this swap I must make sure I am doing the right tangles.

Or, you could use this website for inspiration. http://tanglepatterns.com/

@fawnscrafts ...I love the books too and yes, they are all Official Patterns.

Like@BlueEyesDarkly said, the tanglepatterns.com website is wonderful. You can sign up for their newsletter with your email. They will then send you patterns all the time and challenges to try.

Enjoy!
