Puppy Love

Will there be a cat day at at all?

National cat day is Oct 29.

I have a boxer, perhaps we should post the breeds we have so if we are sending a doggie toy or treat that is is of the appropriate size etc. They should list pet allergeis as well if there are any. I have this info on my profile as well, but not everyone does. Also post if you are a dog lover but dont currently have a pet living with you so they will get dog related items but not treats/toys.

We have a black labrador retriever named Boo aka Boo-Boo who is about 4 years old. She has food allergies (can only eat Purina One Salmon and Rice dog food, just recently got told this by vet). She can't stomach anything with meat by-products in it. She is about 85 lbs. and loves chewing on Kong brand toys and tennis balls from sporting goods department as well as stuffless toys. She tears anything else up in a minute, unfortunately.

This sounds so great! I love animals and have always had rescued ones from the care centers. Here is Lola & me! She;s 5 years old and my little shadow. She was probably a princess in another life because she refuses to sit on the couch if its cold (she'll bark for a blanket to be put down) and she will only get on the bed if she can walk up the doggie stairs with ease. She can always make me feel better. She has a pink rhinestone collar! When I went to the shelter to donate some food, she was just brought in from a puppy mill. She was being used as a breeding dog. She had MANY litters and is scared of men at first. My mom and I knew we had to take this tiny little 5 pound munchkin. She's my baby! We adopted her about 3 yrs ago. She adores any kind of treats and cozy things she can cuddle up next to.

This is PeeWee He's also a chihuahua- possibly mixed with some mini pin. He is about 5-6 yrs old, but we adopted him about 4 years ago. He's my cuddle bug, but he tries to act tough around strangers. He thinks he's a Rottie, but when no one else is around but my mom, boyfriend, and I, all he wants is to cuddle and give kisses. He can even let me know when my blood sugar is going to drop (I have a rare medical condition that put me in 2 comas due to low blood sugar called M.C.A.D.D) and I have to go to the hospital to get a glucose drip. He LOVES toys- plush ones. He loves to play fetch and play hide-&-go seek with his feline sisters. He was found running in a not-so-good neighborhood and was probably abused. He's living a very happy life now.

They're my babies. I've loved animals since I was little. I also have two cats, but I will save their bios for National Cat Day! :D

I have a 14 week old Shiba Inu named Phoenix!!! (He cannot have rawhide, so please no rawhide treats.) SO loving being a dog owner again after fifteen years! I LOVELOVELOVE my puppy, he's so special.

my baby girl/little old lady is 16 this year. Welsh Pembroke Corgi named Tootsie Lou.(on my profile page) Doesnt do toys much due to arthritis & peanut butter is her fave treat. Corgi images can be a challenge to find but anything with her image likeness on it would be great. Even stuff with the Royal Mum ( Queen Elizabeth) & her corgis ;-) Otherwise, stuff in general that celebrate the love & loyalty of dogs is always a good thing :-)

We have a Chihuahua, Papillon and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. The first two are seniors, and can't really have dog treats any more because of their health issues, but the youngest, the Cavvie, can. I love having things with the breeds I have on it, especially if they look like my pets! The Chihuahua is black and tan, Papilon is brown and white, and Cavvie is ruby. They are all wonderful pets and have such different personalities. Love them all =)

Oh I love this!!!! I am owned by a totally spoiled rotton Boxer:))) His name is Rocky and he is reverse brindle in color:) Also just recently bought a BEAUTIFUL fawn w/white female....her name is Maggie:)))

They both absolutely and dearly love their treats, but they are not fond of the hard crunchy treats. They like the soft chewy treats:) Boxers are very hyper, very active dogs. Maggie LOVES playing ball, frisbee and basically anything she can chase and try to catch, lol. Rocky doesn't care for the ball much, but he loves the soft rope chew toys, ya know, like the braided rope bones? OH MY GOSH......and he goes TOTALLY bonkers over his laser light, lol.

Anyway.....I also love anything to do with a boxer....and also have a soft place in my heart for dachshunds, just don't have one right now. Stickers, keychains....whatever you want to send I know I will LOVE:)))

Two dogs:

Trixie--totally spoiled 3 yr old Maltese. She's a princess and even has her own pillow to prove it! lol. .she loves to sit on her pillow and groom herself like a cat. She also likes to be petted and will consume little chewy doggie snacks,however she loves human food the most. :)

Crystal--Samoan Husky-- she's the sweetest -she loves to play and be petted as well. She loves to chase too but we're exhausted before she is! lol.. She loves doggie snacks (milk bones esp) as well and play toys, especially those that squeak.

Forgot to mention, Boo cannot have any rawhide treats/toys of any kind as it will mess up her stomach bad. She can have really strong/sturdy rope toys as well, but nothing flemsy that will fall apart after her playing with it one time. We also feed her carrots as another treat option and on occasion we'll buy her the puppy brand ice cream (she loves the peanut butter kind, but will eat the regular one as well). She is best off to have treats that are not made with any type of meat other than Salmon. I just bought her a bag of the Blue brand treats from PetSmart, she loves them. For her oral care we feed her 1 dentastix per day or 1 Greenie (large size) a day to keep her mouth and teeth healthy and clean.

I have a 6 year old Siberian Husky--she loves any and all treats and toys-no limits with her--other than the stuffing will come out.
