Is it a trick, or is it a treat? For this swap, you will be sending out both. One item will be a "trick", something a bit more sinister. Ideas are specimen jars, spell books, gag gifts (fake bugs/eyeballs/vampire teeth), masks, creepy portraitures, altered urn, poisoned drink recipes w/ spooktini glasses, a favorite scary movie. Check out Martha's Bad Things. One item will be the "treat", which is the more fun side of Halloween. Ideas could be altered journals/notebooks, banner/garlands, ornaments, candles, apron/kitchen towels in Halloween print, jewelry, party or home decor. At least one of the items needs to be handmade, but the other can be store-bought, or you can make both items. It's your choice as to what you make/buy for tricks and treats. Usually lots of stuff can be found at the dollar stores, but don't just throw it in the box and call it done. Embellish, gift-wrap, enhance those dollar store finds. Plan on a package value around five to eight dollars without postage. You may already have stuff in your stash, and not have to buy anything, And because it wouldn't be Trick 'r Treat without the sweets, send your partner an edible treat. Please check profiles for allergies, preferences, etc. No recent ones or threes. Must have completed at least 10 Type 3 Craft swaps, and been rated for them. I will check profiles. I've given plenty of lead time on this swap for you to put your best effort forward and create a package that is spooktacular! |
