Have you recently survived throwing a wedding? Are you currently planning a wedding? Commitment ceremony? Have you always wanted to have a wedding? Renewing vows? Do you like planning parties? Are your kids getting married? Tell me about your wedding journey! This swap has three components: 1. Your letter. This letter MUST be AT LEAST 4 pages – typewritten is fine and maybe even preferable. In this letter you can talk about where you are in the planning process, the wedding industry, your goals for your wedding, any traditions you are going to incorporate or would never incorporate, the most memorable part of your wedding, basically whatever you want to talk about concerning your real or imaginary wedding! 2. Your pictures. You must include at least 4 pictures. These can be inspiration pictures from a magazine, pictures from your wedding, engagement pictures that you love, pictures of your DIYs, whatever. 4 pictures at least, relating to your real or imagined wedding. 3. Your envelope. Decorate your envelope. This swap deserves a nice envelope. You can do it in your wedding theme, or traditional wedding stuff – your envelope should be at least semi-wedding related. THE RULESThis swap is for all kinds of weddings. I'm not taking a poll of member sexual orientation or religious affiliation before signing up, so do yourself a favor and DO NOT JOIN if getting a letter about a gay wedding would bunch up your panties or if you can't talk about weddings that are religious without your head popping off. This is a fun swap about love, centerpieces and flowers, not a chance to tear each other down. We are all different, if experiencing those differences make you sad take a pass and have a great day! Please also understand not all weddings are white dress, tulle and paper bells but some are and both are equally valid and awesome! Please try to check your judgment before writing your letter. We don't need to be Bridezilla's on swap-bot. THE SMALL PRINTI'm a proponent of creativity – I love for people to artistically interpret the guidelines and see where things go (as long as the minimum criteria are met!). I want you to enjoy working on this swap. That being said, please actually work on it. If you send your partner something you aren't proud of that's a reflection of your standards. I value communication, so if there is an issue don't hesitate to contact me. I'm not putting a filter on this swap, so anyone can sign up but if you have excessive ones or threes or recent ones and threes, you'll be banned before partners are assigned. Explanations help. I read all profiles and if you seem overwhelmed or don't log in often I'll probably ban you. I'm willing to private swap if needed, so don't be discouraged. If someone flakes I'll angel after you rate your partner a 1. |
