A handmade fabric postcard--sized 4" X 6". I just googled this and came up with so many ideas! You can sew these by machine, or by hand. If you don't sew, you can use fabric glue! You DO NOT need to quilt this. You DO have to use more than one fabric pasted on a piece of cardstock! Please try to challenge yourself with this! Felt is considered a fabric in this swap. Make sure all edges are glued or attached securely. Use fabric glue if necessary. Make this stiff, because 'floppy' doesn't work in the mail! Do not use embellishments that can be ripped off in transit. like raised buttons. Let's make this a spring themed swap. Use bright colors, flowers, bunnies, eggs, baby chicks, etc. Here is a link you can copy and paste to start to get some ideas flowing in your mind: http://www.craftstylish.com/item/46433/how-to-make-a-fabric-postcard-party-invitation You can mail this inside an envelope for your partner to use later, or you can attach it to cardstock and mail it. Be sure to check with your post office when mailing it by itself(without being in an envelope), as this will need to be handstamped and will need extra postage. Make sure you keep it as flat as possible, without buttons and things sticking up where they can be torn off during transit to your partner. Any questions or suggestions, please PM me (=^.^=) I will be checking profiles before assigning partners, for any recent 1's or 3's. Sorry, but no unrated swappers for this swap. |
