Hello Everybody, @neca has kindly allowed me to be an officer to make some mail art specific swaps, as I am really addicted to them and would love some extra chances to send to fellow Australians and save on some postage! I've done this swap by @stephiedee before in her "Cut + Paste" Group and really loved it. So thanks to Stephie and her awesome group swaps. I thought this would be a great one to start with especially if you are new to collage and don't have a lot of collage materials, as everyone has a few magazines lying around. And don't forget you can recycle cereal boxes to use for your base. I decorate the printed side and write on the grey side (The inside of the box). But you can also paint over the grey or stick a piece of paper on it - it's up to you. Decorate with any thing you like from a magazine, Any magazine and as many magazines as you need but ONLY magazines. All other multi media is allowable as well - Paint, ink, crayon, stamps whatever takes your fancy. The size (and shape) of the postcard is up to you. Minimum requirements are 4รยฝ" high by 6รยฝ" long, bigger is up to you Once your postcard is complete, you will send it to your partner, naked and stamped. Don't forget to put your username & swap name on the back of your postcard. A nice note or quote to your partner would be great, too Any questions ? Feel free to PM me.
