A similar swap happened last year, and it was my favorite matchbox swap ever.

Decorate a small (32 count) matchbox in a theme that you think your partner will like, and fill it with 4 - 5 mini-ATC's that fit inside the matchbox in the same theme. The ATCs should be just small enough to fit in the matchbox.

I'm going to open this up to newbies, and any "experienced" swapper with a rating above 4.7. I'll be glad to "angel" if anyone gets flaked. Also, this is open internationally.

Perhaps someone would like to take on hosting this as a monthly themed matchbox swap? I love the matchboxes, but I'm not a fan of the little stuff that they are generally filled with.

Ooooh I loved doing this one last year, too. I haven't worked out how to store/display the little mini ATCs yet though ;)

Incidentally, there were a couple at the end of last year which were matchboxes with accordion folded paper or a mini book in, with quotes or other decoration, which you might like if you don't use the mini "stuff" which most matchboxes contain...

When you say 'mini ATC' is there a standarD size for that? I know this might be a dumb question but I want to make sure I don't mess anything up.

Pezdiva, The ATC should basically just fit inside the matchbox.

I attach my mini atc's to one ribbon then hang that ribbon in a prominent place for all to admire. This works very well for the atcs, I'm still looking a clever way to display the decorated box along with the atcs. Anyone got an idea?
