Why not a simple postcard swap?

are these to be hometown postcards? or handmade?

Any card that makes you happy - handmade, funny, unusual, hometown, whatever you like!

My five year old daughter loves checking the mail just in case something turns up for her...if you get me as a swap partner could you address it to Rose c/o me? She'll be thrilled, I promise. I'll let her choose the cards to send out and she can draw on the back.

Do I just post the card or send it in an envelope so that it's clean and new when my swap partners receive it?

Tip :If you have to send a card to Europe please wright the 7 with an extra line in the middle . Offently postmen take the overseas 7 for a 1 !

Little question : If possible can you put real stamps on the cards ? Not those ugly white postoffice things :o))) I know many stamp collectors overhere and real stamps are very rarely this days .

The card should be posted through the mail, preferably with stamps and something nice written on the back.

Good grief, I have this sick feeling I didn't put enough postage on my cards. I asked the postal lady, she said yes, but now because it seems to be taking so long, I'm beginning to wonder. Could anyone tell me what happens to postcards with not enough postage on them? Do they get tossed out? I'm just wondering if I should be sending five more out. Newbie swapper here who's trying desperately to get this swapping right.

Lin sent a postcard of the skyline of Montreal Canada. I LOVE it! Loved the big colorful stamp, too. :)

I also received a very unique postcard from Lori...a packet of "Wild Iris" seeds! Wow! This is cool! And I LOVE irises! I had to leave a bunch of my great-grandmother's irises behind in North Georgia when I moved and I miss them. I will look forward to planting these and seeing them come up in the Spring. This was passed on to me when I questioned whether or not my postcards had arrived because I hadn't seen any comments posted. Don't worry yet if the people you sent to don't write anything in the comment section, some people don't and the only way you will know if they arrived is when the person rates you. If you don't get rated right away then you will know they haven't received them and 'then' send out more. As a new swapper I certainly appreciated this little bit of info :o)
