Description:

Create one collage postcard for one partner featuring at least one candy wrapper. The wrapper can be from any type of candy, as long as it's not an ordinary gum wrapper that's been knocking around at the bottom of your bag. Steal some from the kids if you have to ;D

This isn't necessarily a Halloween theme, but you can definitely go in that direction if you want.

The Rules:

  • The size (and shape) of the postcard is up to you. Minimum requirements are 3½" high by 5" long.
  • Your postcard needs to be original work; no scans or reprints.
  • Use actual candy wrappers, not reproductions. Make sure the wrappers are free of any candy bits before using them in your collage.
  • Use a sturdy base, i.e. bristol, recycled cardboard from boxes, postcards you have that you don't care for, etc.
  • Feel free to add mixed media elements to your collage, e.g. paint, drawing, ink.
  • Once your postcard is complete, you will send it to your partner, naked and stamped. Don't forget to put your username & swap name on the back of your postcard. A nice note, greeting or quote to your partner would be great, too :)

Have fun! If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments, or send me a PM.

Just to clarify: "wrapper" includes any kind of candy packaging (boxes, bags, etc) and not just individually wrapped pieces. This occurred to me today when I went out candy shopping {{finishes Tootsie Pop}}
