Year of Your Birth ATC

The other day I was thinking about all the things that happened in 1975, the year I was born, that are rather amazing to me now. Born To Run by the Boss was released, NASA sent Viking I to Mars, Patty Hurst was captured, the Watergate conspirators were sentenced, Jaws was released to the terror of thousands, and Saturday Night Live started! It was snowing in Alaska on my birthday, and I swear I have loved cats from first look!

This is an ATC about the year you were born OR the year your partners were born. You will have a week from the sign-up to the send date if you want to ask your swap partner for thier birth year. This is a SENDER'S CHOICE, just meet the requirements. It needs to be something about what happened in that year of birth. You can be like me in the example and pick many things, or just one. Use YOUR interpretation, this is an ARTIST trading card.

Make sure your cards are the standard 3.5 x 2.5 inches, and try to put your best effort into the cards you send. You can draw, collage, paint, mixed media and even stitch your cards. Anything goes but please don't slap a sticker on it or use a single digital image and call it an ATC. Use your imagination!

On the back of each card include the artist name (your name or your swap-bot name, its up to you), title of the card and the date. Please include a note to your partners of what imagery you chose and why, so it all makes sense. We can all learn something interesting!

You'll have 2 partner's that you'll send 1 ATC each to. This is an international swap because I am fascinated by what cultural milestones we will see from all corners of the globe!

Newbies are welcome, I have been a newbie myself, but please have a rating above 4.5 if you are not! I reserve the right to ban anyone prior to assigning partners if I see unexplained 1's or 3's in profiles. I will angel if needed, please let me know if there are any issues! Please have a completely filled out profile and don't forget to rate your partners when you receive their ATC.
