Please read this ALL. Seasoned swappers willing to swap with semi-newbies are also welcome! I have faith in some newbies as I was once one too and I know what it is like to want to join swaps but having to stick to only ones that will allow newbies. You will make or buy a gift up to a $5 value for your partner. It is sender's choice, BUT it is always nice to look at your partner's profile to make sure you are not sending them something they are allergic to or REALLY do not like. Please make your items non-religious unless you specifically ask your partner and they agree. The gifts do not need to be winter-holiday themed. Please wrap your gift so your partner can open it on the holiday of their choice, it does not have to be wrapped in any holiday wrapping paper (though it can be) since this is more about celebrating the season than any specific holiday, so wrapping is also sender's choice If you are hand-making something please put in $5 worth of your time and effort or more, plus materials may cost you so that can be $5 worth right there. Now for the stipulations: You must have at least 5 type 3 swaps or 10 type 2 swaps, they must ALL be rated by the time partners are assigned. Semi-Newbies must have a perfect 5 rating. Regular swappers 4.95+ Please, if you have ANY doubt you might not be able to fulfill this swap, or any doubt you won't have money for postage or craft materials, please just skip and wait for another opportunity in the future, there are SO many swaps hosted, and many of them are hosted more than once! It just upsets people and can break some people's swapping-spirits when they get flaked. For this swap you cannot rate your partner down based on their talents. You can rate them for quality as in, if they sent you a dirty holiday towel as a gift, it would be inappropriate because it is dirty. Or if they send you a used book (which is fine to do), but it looks like it was thrown in a mud puddle, that is not acceptable. Just use fair common sense. Please rate a 5 when you receive the item, if you need to rate down after you have opened the item (again the time you do this is your choice, doesn't even have to be in December) come back and you can try and work it out with your partner, if they do not want to work it out you can rate a 3. Thank you for reading everything, I hope everyone has fun swapping! |
