Comment: Sorry for the late rating; I can't believe I missed this in my email. Oh my gosh--you read so many last month, however you count them! I'm amazed!
Comment: Great reading month for you. Seems like longer ago than that, that you read Lock-In. Feed has been on and off my TBR for a while. I need to try it at some point.
Comment: Wow, so cool that you met your readathon goals! Kudos! Nighttime is always the hardest for me too so I decided to be kind to myself and skip the darkest hours of the readathon. :) Hope to see you around next time!
Comment: Glad you had a good time. Sorry the prizes were crap by the time you got to them. That sucks. :( I hope next time I can keep up with you better. Cheerleading kicked my ass. It was mostly fun tho.
Comment: It sounds like you got a lot done! Sorry your prize wasn't that great. I'm thinking of donating something for the next round since I don't feel the selection was all that to begin with, and it definitely favored the people who won earliest.
Comment: Kim, thank you so, so much for your letter and sharing your read with me. I know very well the feeling of 'what if...' - I find myself wondering that frequently. But I keep thinking "I wouldn't be the person I am today if I'd made different choices" and I'm sure the same goes for you. Its great that you revisited Clive Cussler and I hope the experience wasn't too bittersweet. As I always think to myself - it isn't over yet. You never know what you could still do...
Comment: Great review. It was touching to me that you were so open about certain subjects. I hope all is fine now in your life. Reading 2 books deserves a big heart for this swap. I wish you lots fun reading days to come. Thanks for sharing:-)
Response: All is great!:) me and my little boy are doing awesome by ourselves, we're very happy! thanks for the nice rating!
Comment: Awesome indeed! But I'm sorry you didn't like Shadow of the Wind more. It's one of my favorite books ever; I earread it and the accents/language were beautiful. You reread some faves from my childhood this month (LWW and Anne). I love that you include the dates you read each book! I'm impressed :-)
Comment: Wow! You had an amazing reading month. I'm a bit relieved to find someone else for whom The Shadow of the Wind did not live up to the hype. After hearing from so many others who absolutely loved it, I thought I must be the only one who was missing something! We have other similar tastes as well - Anne of Green Gables is one of my all-time favorites!
Comment: Wow. You're month really was bad for you. :( I'm glad all that stuff is behind you, and I hope you have a much better reading month. We read 3 of the same books and had the same thoughts of them. :D MUAH woman.
Comment: I really like that you put the dates you started & finished the books! I haven't seen anyone else doing that with their reviews. Thanks for sharing all your thoughts as well--the good and the meh :-)
Comment: Hey Kim, thanks for the awesome letter about the three books you read this month for the book club! I've read a David Sedaris book once (don't remember which) and had the same laugh out loud experience but when I picked up another it fell flat. Perhaps I will give Me Talk Pretty a go based on your review. = ) The other two books don't really sound like they are up my alley but good to know! Thank you for the great letter!
Comment: Thanks for sharing your pictures. :) Yours made me feel so much better about having more books than shelves and having to cram them in every which way.
Comment: Thank you very much for the insightful review of "Fault In Our Stars". I didn't pick that one to read, so you didn't spoil or give anything away. ;) I really like how you worded your synopsis of the book and gave your opinions! Thank you very much!
Comment: I feel like such an idiot! I had forgotten to rate you! Thinking I had already done so! Im so sorry for this late rating. Thank you for all the good recommendations :). Im super excited to read The Night Circus most of all.
Comment: Thank you Kimberly! We have a lot of books in common and I enjoyed reading your views on some of the ones I haven't read yet but want to. I have added some new ones to my to-be-read. Happy reading! :)
Comment: Thanks for the great recommendations, Kim. Evil at Heart will be the next audio book I listen to...and two of you recommended the same book, which means I MUST read it!
Comment: Thank you for your recommendations! I love books about lighthouses, so Kiss River will definitely be on my to-read list. I'll also be checking out The Choice. Thanks again!
Comment: Thank you for your recommendations, and thank you for joining my swap. I'll read it just cuz you told me to, even though it sounds awful! The things I do for you!
