Comment: Thank you for the notecard - we had to read The Red Pony and I cried ( so very descriptive) so to hear many of his books were set in that area was neat !
Response: I'm glad you liked it! Growing up I couldn't have cared less! Since his books were set in our area it was mandatory that we read his books and I think for that reason alone I hated it! It's amazing what a few years can do to your perspective of where you grew up!
