Response: What can I say, I thought I'd give the author one more shot and the second book was even worse. I think I felt that since I had checked the book out I had to read it (but I've since changed my perspective). I really liked The Book of You and I think you will like the flip-side POV. Thanks for setting up this awesome swap!
Response: Thanks for reading my weird story!
Response: Hi! We actually JUST got back from disney today! It was INSANE with the crowds and everything. Please do write back! I'd love to keep you as a penpal if you want!!! <3 <3 Thank you and happy holidays and new year! Drink all the coffee!

Response: Yay! I'm glad you liked my answers and that we are similar. Let's swap again!
Response: Awww thank you!1!
Response: Thank you! I enjoyed answering the questions!
Response: Hi! Turns out the issue the MIL was texting about really is an issue, but I didn't want to give her the satisfaction of letting her lord it over me. We have a big decision to make on this house...But regardless, thanks for the support and feedback!
Response: I became busy and didn't take myself off the swap like I should've. If I could go back and change it, I would. I'm sorry I was a bad partner :(
Response: Same as above. I signed up for some really easy email swaps after I moved. But I became busy and everything slipped my mind and should've removed myself from the swap. I apologize.
Response: Yeah this was all during a single time period where I just became very busy and completely flaked. It was a bad month. One that I will never have repeated. I apologize.
Response: I don't blame you. I was a shitty partner. I'm much better now.
Response: Jesus, I really did fail at this one. I've learned not to sign up for more than I can handle and for swaps that I can actually complete with passion and interest.
Response: HEEEE! See, thats why it took so damn long! But I seriously had a LOT fo fund making these, and my buddy at Kinko's squealed over them too. She helped me cut out all the little pieces. I can't believe I have Qui Gon's Mickey mouse hat on my desk, GAH!
Response: Thank you!! This was my last doodle Postcard and glad you got it!!!
Response: My dad is very pleased to hear that. he helped me pick out the videos.
Response: He can't resist. If there's a tree, gosh darn it he will find a way to climb it!
Response: Thank the GODS the envelope arrived. You know how paranoid I was over it and the postage. Hopefully nothing erm..ripped off this time? :P
Response: :D
I still wanted to keep the journal when I was done!! But I'm glad you like it. The mini book was also a 'composition" book. I keep one for my finances
Response: There are MANY Hitler parodies but this one was my favorite because its not just him screaming at people. I also emailedmy dad, and that will make his day! Thank you!
Response: Thank you! I've emailed my dad to tell him!
Response: I like the mean girls one more, but both were frickin AWESOME!! i cant wait till the next swap of links.
Response: Hi there! Ahahaha, if you want to! <3
Response: OMG pleeeease lets swap again! I believe its your choice to name a subject!! <3 <3 <3
Response: I will "Go!" you ALL I WANT, GIRL!!! XD
Epic win.
Response: Sweet!!! Thanks!
Response: I'm glad the .pdf format worked!! I also like putting these kind of emails in a format thats easiest to read. I seriously love Dane cook's jokes and Adam Lambert.
Response: My coded message says nothing at all haha. I typed some random text and changed the font!! LOL. Yeah I love making everything in a .pdf, its so much easier to read.
Response: I'm glad you found enjoyment withthem even though you don't watch TV. That means you related to them in a different way, and enjoyed the song for the song, which is the way music is meant to be! Thanks!
Response: There are so many other TV shows I wanted to include, but I figured 10 was enough! I'm glad you enjoyed and I hope the downloads worked, if you downloaded. Thanks!
Response: I love the original TMNT! I'm not a fan at ALL of the rebooted cartoon. Everything about it is different. I still have my original toys!! Thanks!
Response: Thank you!! If you're my partner for swap #6, you'll get my favorite movie themes!!
Response: I wanted to color something for you that was profile specific, and consider it quite lucky that Tinkerbell pages are readily available online. I went through about 30 pages before I found something more detailed than just Tink. I think its from the sequel (that I never saw). Coloring IS something I do a lot of (obviously haha) and love that you are hanging it up!
Response: Tell me you love my music!
Response: If only I had just laminated the cards this time, then Dr Manhattan's extension wouldn't have been torn off in unvolunatry..self mutiliation! Grrrr @ your post office. I'll set up the jaredxjared swap tonight when I'm home XD I joined a bunch of your email swaps!
Response: My second favorite is Nick from "Forever Knight", which is an AWESOME tv show from the 90s!!
Response: I loved making it and honored you love it!
Response: I must have been chanelling your mom when i drew Crazy Hat Church Lady!! I'd love to see her art (and yours)!!! Thank you!!!
Response: You still have to admit, they made great doorstops, too! <3
Response: I'm a rock 'n rolla, baby!! Let's swap again!!! Wanna?
Response: I hope to someday get over my Avatar obsession, lol! Thank you <3
Response: Another thing I didnt mention that I loved about the strip was the snowmen!
Response: I think its brilliant. I think everyone ought to have a fetus in a jar. I actually figured this would be a better representation than the "T". Fantastic swap, please host another one soon. Oh, and my second choice for a movie was "Z".
Response: Noo, don't say that! Your journal is made of awesome, and I'm sure its beautiful. Mine's a controlled mess, really! I really want you to check out the diary of frida khalo out of the library. She had a controlled mess as well (and crayon drawings no less!) and I found it inspiring. If you want me to make another mini journal and send it, I'll be happy to, any time. :D
Response: Aww thanks! I have to tell you though, when I showed it to a friend, he said "David T looks constipated!" LOL! I cant wait for the next swap, its Firefly!! <3
Response: HEHEHEHEHE! I'm glad you like the lamination. Its so shiney now, in a non glittery sort of way. Lamination is the best invention EVER next to colored toilet paper and crayon sharpeners. I love that you love them! Take a photo when you hang them up!! Onwards to the next swap! *points up at the air randomly*
Response: If you gave me 15 hearts, I'd give you 25 chocolate ones. I would also give you an umbrella because it probably rained while you sat there waiting : /
I'm going to post a new swap for the both us, one based on the X-FILES (because that show is awesomely made of awesome.) Info to follow. Thank you for everything!!!!! <3 <3 <3 <3
Response: Its one of my all time favs! I doubt I'm more creative, come on! We're all creative... we have different strengths. You can do things i can't, I'm sure of it! <3
Response: It was too hard of a decision to make to just pick one. <3
Response: Its very cute!! <3
Response: First, I'm glad the movie worked! One never knows what programs other people have on their computers so I'm relieved. Also, I knew the platter went slightly "out-of-bounds" of the rectangle and happy you didn't knock of a point for that. Lastly, I LOVE THAT YOU LOVE IT!!!!! <3
Response: Thanks for hosting!
Response: I have to admit I was a bit paranoid over the fact that the top of the octopus went a little beyond the standard rectangle of the ATC. I really appreciate that you didn't knock me down to a 3 for that (as I was seriously worried.) I've been breaking the borders in a few of my recent ATCs, yours being the very first one I tried it with (and I think it was the perfect ATC to do it on.) I'm in love with Octi and his cheezeburger, and really excited you heart the lols as much as I do! Thank you for bringing the awesome to this comment. <3
Response: I had never heard of Maxine before I did thsi swap, believe it or not, and when I researched her I realized she would be the perfect co-worker, so thats how I came up with the idea of "putting her" in my call center. Her hands are crazy, did you ever notice that?? And she has great older lady clothing fashion sense, lol. Thansk for the awesome comment. <3
Response: Hehe! Its not really something you think about every day, is it? Our habits, or mundane objects until they appear in an ATC or in the mind of a nutty person (like me). Thanks for the rating, <3
Response: HEHE, don't eat the card!! It tastes like crap I'm sure. I actually found doing these cards a temporary cure of wanting fast food... maybe its because I'm staring at the photos so much as I draw, and after a while they aren't so appealing anymore.... thanks for the rating! <3
Response: Thank you!! I thought it was a neat way to make everyone feel special because everyone's piece makes up the whole, and the whole isn't complete without you.It was actually really interesting to observe people playing with the cards when they were all together... everyone (as I like to test this sort of thing) was pretty amused by the "puzzle" effect. I don't think my idea is anything new, but its new for ME. I'm glad you like it, and thanks for the rating!! <3
Response: Hey thanks!! I think I shoulda put Garfield in it somewhere ;) I got that card, and its adorable. Thank you, sweetie <3
Response: Wow, with this kind of response, I'm thinking of trying a connecting set again! It was a lot more work than I thought it'd be, but well worth it! And everyone loves money, right? Lol. Thanks for the rating! <3
Response: I know it said to just draw Sailor Mercury, but I figured everyone already has eleventy billion images of the scouts, and I wanted to make something...different..but recognizeable. Like I said, going to see Avatar was a pretty big inspiration, and after I did your card I kinda went nuts and started doodling celebs as Na'vi. My BFF saw how I massacred Adam Lambert with blue skin and pointy cat ears and went "WTF!? HAHA!" but then she told me to never do that again...and poor Glambert.... Thanks for the rating. <3
Response: Awww yay! I'd think WOW is a very awesome reply, and no more need be said! Thanks for the rating, and I'm sure I'll see your name pop up on my sending list again very soon. <3
Response: He is the reason I actually gave two hockey sticks (go Olympics!) for American Idol again. I didn't watch the show though but have been a die-hard fan ever since the show ended. Did you know he's actually a red-head!? GASP!
Response: Not walls and walls but floors and floors of crumpled up doodles and rejected ATCs..hahah. A lot of my art (the Crayon work, which are mostly portraits) either are from commissions or are intended for a gallery space. A good piece can take anywhere from a week to a month to complete, and usually don't stay around the house for very long. Although...this one piece I did ended up hanging in their closet..not sure what happened there, lol. But I digress..thanks for the comment, rating, and awesomeness!! Hope to trade with you again! <3
Response: Well everyone deserves a unique card, don't they ;) I'm glad you enjoy it! Thanks for the rating. <3
Response: I love this card, and so do a lot of other people (friends and co-workers) who saw it before mailing. I've grown quite a fancy for morphing Hello Kitty into other characters, and as soon as I saw the two characters listed I already knew what I was gonna do! I love that you have it in your favs! That made my LIFE. <3
Response: Hey Nancy! You are wonderful, and thank you for the compliments! We need to swap again!! *HUGS*
Response: Hey there! The food was crayola crayon (obviously living up to my screen name, lol) and the background is marker (prismacolors). All of the sandwhiches are crayon, but if you had the french fries ( i cant remember who has what) then those were color pencil! Thank you!!! You can see the other ones online if you want.
Response: This was my first swap hosting, believe it or not, and I'm absolutely besides myself in awe at what you wrote here! I'm very humbled and excited over the fact that I managed to make your first comic themed ATC swap a good one!
I found this website and on it the person posted two templates for photoshop, one being the ATC cards and one being the envelopes. Thats where I was able to make the envies from:
http://www.cedarseed.com/air/atc.html
Or do a googl search for "ATC art in my pocket"
I dont remember where I got the stationary from, but I'm thinking Target a few years ago. Before they cut back on inventory.
It was a pleasure swapping, sweetie! <3
Response: Hehe, now the CD is the FILM of the making of Thriller, not the music. So don't try putting it in your cd player hehehe. All of my stuff is hand drawn now. I'm le tired of making collage and these are easier. <3 Glad I had you as my partner.
Response: <3
Lampreys FTW!
Response: I'm so glad it got to you safely! The lady at the post office was giving me a hard time over the size of the envelopes. I was like, SEND IT ALREADY hahahaha. I love that you love it and thank you for not eating it!
Response: Thanks!! I'm going backwards now to catch up so I will have all the states soon. Let me know if you want any of theother states from prior the "m's"!
Response: I'm so glad you like it! It was a pretty fun swap, which surprises me because I was a bit dumbfounded at first on the idea of it being about mushrooms. But I really enjoyed drawing the 'rooms, and had fun with it. Thanks for taking time to rate me <3
Response: Was it so cute that you just wanted to vomit, then look at the bun-buns again and vomit all over again!? I'm just kidding!! I'm pretty excited I made it your TOP 10!! Thank you! <3
Response: Yaaaay! So it turned out cute afterall! Nothing like a bit of Star Wars to start the day! and thanks for the email about Singapore! <3
Response: Awwww, thank you <3
Response: Thank you!! I'm really glad you like the stained glass effect. = D
Response: I'm such a show-off, doh! What did you think of the lamprey? LOL.
Response: Major <3 <3 <3 <3 to you. I'm giddy that you liked it because its one of my favorite cards yet. I collect reproduction catalogues and felt this was a fantastic opportunity to make use of them. :D
Response: Sweet!!! Thank you ^__^
Response: Lampreys(lamrpies?) freak me out, dude. I can't believe they are real, and my father suggested it when i couldn't come up with an "L" animal other than leopard, lion, and liger. The photo of it with its mouth and FANGS TEETH is forever burned into my brain. Its like something out of Star Wars!
Response: I'm really glad you liked it!! I hope it wasn't TOO trippy haha. I'm sure yours is beautiful!!! <3
Response: I know!! And whats crazy is this weekend here in Richmond, we were snowed in AGAIN! And Richmond NEVER gets snow!!! The photo I sent was from the week of Xmas when it snowed last. I'm hearing people ar work today going "I'm so sick of this stupid snow! I hope it never comes back!"
Response: That's fantastic! I hope we get to swap again,t oo!
Response: Awww thank you!! Thanks for putting up with my emails, haha <3
Response: Thank you!! I figured it would be easier to read that way!
Response: Absolutely! I drew it first in pencil, then inked using a regular felt tip pen (I love them, I use them for everything.) Then I colored using cheap Rose Art pencils (I think it was a pack of 100, I don't remember.) The MD state seal was printed from clip art, glued, and colored. The envelope was printed with the MD highway welcome sign and then colored using "Goldenrod" prismacolor marker to reduce streaks.
After I made this i showed it to my mom, and she "awwww'd and Oooooo'd" it for a full three minutes, and that was when i knew I probably had something special. I'm glad you love it!
Response: I'm really glad!! It put me to sleep when I "tested" it, haha
Response: That comment right there made the three days I spent on it totally worth while! <3
Response: Yaaaay it came. It only took a billion years! I'm glad you like it!!! <3
Response: I really didn't want to just put a big ole "F" on it, although the idea of having a student's paper with a big FAIL on it was an idea...I'm really excited that you love it!! Thank you <3
Response: I've been waiting with baited breath to see your reaction to my ATC. Its by far my favorite ATC I've done and pined to keep it BUT I wanted to share. When I think of Brave New World, every time my mind falls onto the assembly line of the baby production and its significance more so than the savages or the Model T. I just wish the baby hadn't turned out so 'alien' like, but I hope it comes across as the creepy appeal I was hoping for as well as beautiful (but not 'pretty'.) I knew the book was online, and found it at manybooks.net which has thousands of other classic novels available as .pdf's. And to think I nearly chose 'Black Beauty'!! Thank you, sweetie, for the rating and the heart. <3
Response: Thank you!! I'm thrilled you liked the tunes, and that they worked for you! <3
Response: O.O; Oh no! And to think I copy and pasted the list a couple of times into my document, Gah! Tonight when I'm home from work I'll figure out the two missing questions and email them to my five partners. Thank you for the heads up, sweetie! I hope you like the music! <3
Response: Fantastic! I think we all should have a dog and have it be Zero! I'm glad you and your daughter liked it!
Response: This was my first swap and I'm very excited to see your response! I'm also relieved that the envelope made it without damage, as I was worried about it going through the post office processing machines (it wasn't a flat envelope.) I had a LOT of fun with this. Thanks for the great swap idea! <3
